Wildlife Monitoring System
A Wildlife Monitoring System is designed to detect and track animals near airport runways to prevent wildlife strikes. Using a combination of radar, thermal cameras, and AI, these systems provide real-time alerts to air traffic controllers and ground staff.
FOD-S (Foreign Object Debris - Static)
FOD-S is particularly useful for busy airports, where high frequency of takeoffs and landings prevent vehicle operation from the runway surface. FOD-S comprises of a set of visual sensors, displaced laterally at suitable distances from runway edges and mounted at commensurate heights, while adhering to the OCC (Obstacle Clearance Criteria).
FOD-S Detection
Static FOD delivers continuous AI-based runway surveillance for reliable Foreign Object Debris (FOD) detection. The system uses strategically installed sensor units beyond the Obstacle Limitation Surfaces (OLS) to support aviation safety compliance while maintaining coverage of designated runway zones and adjacent areas.
Using long-range electro-optical sensors and intelligent vision analytics, Static FOD provides automated debris detection and classification. The system also enables geo-tagging, timestamping, and real-time alerts to help airport teams identify potential hazards quickly.
With continuous monitoring and automated alerts, Static FOD supports faster response, efficient runway inspections, and safer airport operations.
